The free video download package, item by item
Free on this page is a concrete set of inclusions—and a short list of things it never unlocks. Read the package before you spend a daily slot.
Paste a URL to download
Paste a public video or playlist URL.
Quick check — then you can download
Finding streams…

Note: Only download content you have the rights/permission to download. Some platforms rotate signed URLs; if a download fails, paste the URL again and click Download.
Paste one video URL per line (2–100 URLs on Pro or Creator). Upgrade to Pro to unlock batch mode.

Pro users enjoy an ad-free downloader. Free tier may show sponsored placements. No URL history sold. Optional Vidzilla extension for Page Media — same privacy standards.

The inclusions free visitors actually get
Free video download on Vidzilla means you can paste a public watch URL, run Analyze, read every published encoding the page can list, and finish Download file without creating an account or installing a desktop app. Advertising may appear on free sessions. The two published gates are a daily completed-download count and a maximum megabyte size per free file.
Those inclusions are the whole free product. Free does not invent extra quality tiers, strip watermarks the publisher added, or unlock membership-only catalogues. If the source page plays while you are signed out, Analyze can inventory it. If the source page refuses signed-out viewers, free download refuses it the same way.
This page’s job is to spell out that package so you know what you are buying with a free slot. Related pages talk about caps as a sales pitch or about free downloaders as a category; here the focus is the inclusion list itself.
Analyze sits outside the free spend
Pressing Analyze does not consume a free download. You can inventory several public links while you decide which file is worth keeping. The daily count moves when Download file finishes writing a complete file to your browser downloads folder.
That split matters on busy days. People who burn slots on exploratory clicks run out before they save the clip they actually needed. Treat Analyze as a free inventory pass and Download file as the paid-in-slots action.
If a transfer stalls or you cancel before the browser marks the file complete, do not assume a slot was spent. Confirm against the remaining-downloads figure on the page after the attempt ends.
Size ceiling as part of the inclusion set
Every result row shows a size in megabytes. Free includes only rows at or under the free size ceiling. Rows above that ceiling stay visible so you can see what Pro would unlock; free Download file will not start those transfers.
Resolution labels are not size labels. Two 720p rows can differ by tens of megabytes because bitrate and runtime differ. Free inclusion is judged by the megabyte figure on the row you select, not by the resolution badge alone.
When the encoding you want sits over the ceiling, free still includes the smaller published rows for that same URL. Choosing a mid-tier row that fits is using free correctly, not settling for a broken file.
- Paste one public media URL, not a channel or playlist index.
- Run Analyze and read every megabyte label.
- Pick a row that sits inside the free size ceiling.
- Leave the tab open until Download file finishes.
Daily count as a hard inclusion limit
Free includes a fixed number of completed downloads per day. When the remaining figure hits zero, free no longer includes another Download file until the daily window resets. Pro raises that allowance; free does not soft-reset because you refreshed the page.
Plan the order of saves when you have several titles. Archive the must-keep clips first. Leave experimental links for later or for tomorrow so the inclusion budget goes to files you will keep.
Shared household browsers share the free path behaviour for that profile. A second tab in the same profile does not create a second inclusion budget by itself.
What free never includes
Private, paywalled, region-locked, and deleted videos are outside free inclusions. An empty Analyze list after a careful paste is usually the source refusing anonymous access, not a missing feature on this page.
Free also does not remove advertising. Ads are part of how free stays available. Pro removes ads and raises limits; neither tier installs a background agent on your phone or PC.
Licence rules stay with the publisher. Free transfer does not rewrite copyright, classroom fair-use limits, or platform terms. Keep files you are allowed to keep.
When Pro is the honest next inclusion
If your normal work is long lectures, high-bitrate masters, or more daily saves than free includes, Pro is the published upgrade path. Retrying the same oversized row will not enlarge the free ceiling.
Use free for clips that fit the package. Use Pro when the inclusion list on this page is too small for the job you repeat every week.
Habits that protect the free package
Confirm the source plays signed out before you paste. Copy the full https address for a single item. Read size labels before you commit a slot. Rename the saved file so the next download does not collide on disk.
Prepared files on the worker expire on a short timer. The lasting copy is the one your browser wrote into downloads. Free inclusions cover that finished local file within the published count and size rules.
If search wording brought you to a neighbouring free-download page, stay here when you need the inclusion inventory. Stay on a host-specific tool when the job is a named site quirk.
Questions about free inclusions
Does free include an account signup?
No. Free video download on this page runs without registration. Accounts matter when you want Pro limits and an ad-free session.
Is Analyze part of the free download spend?
No. Analyze inventories public encodings without spending a daily slot. Completed Download file actions spend the count.
Does free include every encoding Analyze lists?
It includes the listed encodings that also fit the free size ceiling. Larger rows remain visible but require Pro for transfer.
Can free include private Drive or login-only hosts?
No. If a signed-out browser cannot play the media, free download cannot include that file either.
Do free files include a Vidzilla watermark?
No. You receive the publisher’s published encoding. Advertising on the page is separate from the file bytes.
What resets the free inclusion count?
The site’s daily free window. When remaining downloads show zero, wait for that reset or move to Pro.
